Donate to help name the Holbrook School court after Coach Merritt

At the end of the day, as a coach you are measured on how your players reflect on you. Winning is great but your legacy has a lot more to do with how your players remember their experience on your team and how you helped to shape their lives.

Coach Merritt has a thousand plays and he’s a master at teaching the fundamentals of the game. His communication skills, his attention to detail, and his intense practices are well known to everyone who has played for him, however, he will ultimately be remembered for being a coach that nurtured a LOVE for the game.

Coach Merritt’s players will fondly remember him as a coach that pushed them hard. He was dedicated to developing his boys into great players and even better humans. His perseverance and grit have aided him in maintaining these wonderful attributes for 40 years. Yes, he has coached middle school boys for 40 years!!! Please join our community in honoring this special man by donating money to help us name the Holbrook basketball court after Coach Merritt. A mockup of his name on the court will be presented to him at the basketball banquet following the season and the work to letter the court will take place this summer.

Shhhhhhhh, please keep this all quiet we want it to be a surprise.
